14 Isla Coco Eau De Parfum Travel Size - 8 ml

I was slightly disappointed in this. It was hyped up to be this incredible, unique coconut fragrance but to me it’s just underwhelming and average. It’s truly unisex so that can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on the wearer. For me personally it’s a bad thing because I prefer more feminine scents. I was also expecting (and looking for) a distinct coconut fragrance but to me this is more of a fresh/green citrus with a vague hint of suntan lotion (so, not even really coconut).
And don’t get me wrong - it IS a nice fragrance. It’s just not something exquisite or unique, or even above average for me. And it’s definitely not something I would have paid this much for had I known this is what it smells like.
So overall, 3/5 stars. Longevity is good (about 4/5).

Isla coco is just ok. All of its notes are noticeable, however, there is a heavy jasmine presence that makes the whole composition smell antiquated and like mothballs. I like the citrus opening, the airy-watery vibe with marine notes, and the coconut is a milky/creamy essence. The ylang-ylang is even a nice touch, but maybe too much --they need to dial back a bit on the forals and Amp up the other notes. Luckily, I got a 10ml to try it and I'm glad that I did. Eventually, I will gift this scent to someone who is into a floral-coconut perfume. Performamce is moderate and the full size bottle looks classy/elegant. I really wanted to love this fragrance, but Isla coco isnt for me.

So the only way to try this is to blind buy which I don’t do often - but based on the note description I thought I would love it. This perfume is very strong and not in a good way - the scent is very synthetic and honestly could not wash it off fast enough. I was disappointed, especially when I saw there was zero return policy once opened - I used one spritz and will never use again. Money down the drain - would not recommend.

I purchased the travel sized in spite of all the mixed reviews because Stephanie had mentioned that someone stopped her at the grocery store to ask what she was wearing. It is pretty. It’s fresh and fruity on the top, dries to a bit of a heavier white floral and I found the longevity to be a bit under-performing compared to her other two scents. Glad I tried it for the summer but more glad I didn’t commit to the big bottle.

I looove this one so much! This is absolutely the perfect summer fragrance IMO. I am not someone who loves sunscreen summer scents, so this is right up my alley.

To my nose this is how it smells:

Opening: upon first spray you get that calamansi note right away. To me it smells like a blood orange and a grapefruit combined.

Middle: after about 5 minutes I still get the calamansi but the tea and fig start to come out. So kinda like a citrus tea almost.

Dry down: citrus tea, coconut milk with a hint of fig.

For me personally, I get zero Jasmine and the fig is way in the background. I also don’t smell any ylang ylang at all.

Longevity and silllage is moderate.

This is Ledda’s best fragrance so far. I love it.

9/10 fragrance!
